See brilliantly, live brilliantly
Advertising for Pharma reminded me that my true purpose as a filmmaker is to prioritise sensitive, authentic, reliable and trustworthy communication.
Substance over style.
SquareFoot
More heart per Squarefoot
This film was full of juggad – I owe Vasani for bringing our ideas to life in the most innovative, budget friendly way possible. More heart per Squarefoot basically !

If I get a chance…
Over the years we have had the privilege to make a few films for Salaam Bombay Foundation, and yet every single time, I’m amazed by the power of their work. Passionate and empowered, these children thrive, in-spite of their circumstance. They are the future. This one gives flight to their dreams…

Cards for sharing
There’s nothing quite as simple and beautiful as a candid conversation between friends – Black & White Gingerale’s Cards for sharing bought us all to the same table as we discovered how rewarding it is to allow oneself to be vulnerable.

Which director – DOP doesn’t dream of creating cosy coffee shop ambience. After all caffeine is what powers us through many a project ! With the rain pelting outside, Warm, welcoming Starbucks became our home, office and shoot floor. We can still smell the aroma of coffee when we watch this, we hope you can too.

Investing Ke Aam Tarikey
Finance can be daunting and so the motivation behind this idea was to take a simple situation and make a metaphor out it. Using kids conveys how effortless the fundamentals of investing can be.

Our first film after lockdown took us to Goa’s lush foliage. It was a breath of fresh air for our team to do this film which celebrates mind, body and spirit.

The New Normal
Is the past the future we want ? 2020 was a year that compels reflection. When the pandemic hit, as filmmakers the only way to channelise emotion was through our work. We felt a need to respond, and to question an economic and social system that is unable to protect its planet or people. As the race to normalcy continues, we feverently hope that we DON’T return to “the normal” we once accepted.
Thank you is simply not enough to every single collaborator who believed in this idea and supported in slowly growing it into a film, without anything in return.

30 years compressed into 30 seconds. The LTFS Home loan film needed a lot of behind the scene magic to move seamlessly through the ages!

#Unitedagainsthunger
Covid-19 has brought Running Cow films and Rolling Can productions together around our shared passion for film and a determination to end hunger. We managed unprecedented access for our DOP to the heart of Mumbai during lockdown to give you a glimpse of the harsh reality on ground and the determination of our Mumbai-ites.

Eight
Sometimes it takes just one person to change your life. “Eight” took Gul Panang down memory lane as we tried to capture what was in her mind’s eye without actually visiting any of the spaces where her life was made. What resulted was an art director’s and cinematographer’s dream film.
View ProjectIt’s easy to find a production house in a city of so many. What’s far more rare is to find a partner that handles every brief, regardless of budget, scale or challenge, with heartfelt creative and the hard, diligent work of craft. I’ve loved every chance I’ve had to work with the Running Cow team.
Amanda Mooney
Associate Creative Director, Edelman
Running Cow Films was born in 2011 to bridge the gap between a wide range of film styles – from television commercials and documentary, to short fiction and animation. By finding new and unusual spaces between these worlds, we create advertising and content that is fresh, memorable, likeable and most importantly, communicates a sense of authenticity. We believe this is the best way to connect with a new ‘post-advertising’ generation, who respond to brands that find genuine and original ways to connect with consumers.

HP – Reinvent Learning with Shruti Seth
We experienced the joys of Motherhood through the eyes of Shruti Seth on this film. Sweet anecdotes, a great attention to the little details and the ever versatile HP printer helped recreate the special relationship between Shruti and her daughter. What made this film extra special was it’s almost all women crew!
